Davis Island Yacht Club



As the dining room would have limited seating capacity, this space is being reserved for our MEMBERS ONLY. Dining on the porch will remain an option for members, guests and reciprocal guests. Inside dining will be for a maximum of 40 people (about 1?2 of our dining capacity). Friday evening dining (inside and outside) will require a reservation. 

Our membership has been great at following our guidelines and generally seem to be very conscientious of keeping each other safe. As a reminder, we are stilling following our opening plan guidelines, which include:

  • Members must not use the Club if not feeling well.
  • Members should wear masks while in the clubhouse. These may be removed for active eating and drinking.
  • If you are just coming to the club for cocktails, please order at the bar  or from the takeout window and take a seat inside or on the porch, exercising social distancing. 
  • No standing around or gathering at the bar will be allowed. Beverage service will be for consuming tableside or while seated outside. Signs will direct you to where you can order, pick up and exit the Club.
  • **IMPORTANT: Until further notice, Friday evening dining will be by specific reservation time to accommodate a reduced number of tables to meet maximum headcount criteria.
  • Members will be offered specific reservation times. If a requested reservation time is full, members will be provided alternative times based on availability.
  • Table configurations have been made to accommodate required social distancing standards. Members will not be allowed to move tables or change table configurations.
  • Maximum number of diners at any table will be 6. Maximum number of diners inside the club at any one time will be 40.
  • The Club will be open for lunch Tuesday through Friday (11:30-2:00), dinner on Fridays (5:30-8:30) and Brunch on Saturdays and Sunday (9:00-3:00) as well as having pub grub available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (4:00-7:30). Menus will be limited.
  • There will be sanitizer and paper towels available for you to wipe down your table, the restroom door handles, counter tops and other areas prior to and after touching. In addition, staff will wipe these down frequently.
  • Members will be asked to maintain social distancing.
  • Staff will make members who are not adhering to social distancing protocols and seating arrangements aware of the Club’s policies and notify Commodore if problems arise.
  • Please be aware that many of our members have pre-existing conditions that make them at high risk for this virus. They are also anxious to get out of the house, so we ask that everyone please be considerate and follow these guidelines so we can all remain healthy.
  • Our staff are just as vulnerable as the rest of us, so please be considerate of their health and safety by helping to maintaining safe distancing and wearing your mask during interactions.
