Once again, the enchanting shores of Fantasy Island burst into life as Joel and Mayrelis Hutson sprinkled their magic, turning an ordinary day into a spectacular affair! Fantasy Island isn't just a destination; it's a haven where laughter echoes and stories dance around the bonfire. The Luau was an absolute blast, with everyone diving into scrumptious dishes and sipping on delightful libations, creating memories that will last a lifetime. A huge round of applause to Joel and Mayrelis Hutson for making it all possible!

With April beckoning, our next upcoming adventure is set to unfold from April 5th to 7th. Martha Bone and Bob Touton have graciously taken the helm, crafting a weekend of fun and excitement that promises to be truly unforgettable. Our On The Hook weekend will see us exploring the scenic wonders around Longboat Pass, with each stop offering its own unique charm and allure. I have no doubt that Martha and Bob will lead us on a voyage filled with laughter, camaraderie, and perhaps a few unexpected surprises and treasures along the way.

Amidst the anticipation of future endeavors, it is with a tinge of nostalgia that I announce my impending departure as your Cruising Fleet Captain. For the last four years, it has been my honor and privilege to guide our cruising fleet through calm waters and turbulent seas alike. Together, we weathered the challenges of a global pandemic and reveled in the serenity of shared adventures. We sailed the largest sailing square rigger passenger ship through the enchanting West Indies and more. The bonds forged during our voyages are etched deeply within my heart, serving as a testament to the strength of our cruising Fleet and club.

To each member of the DIYC Cruising Fleet, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your trust and unwavering support throughout my tenure. Your enthusiasm and camaraderie have been the wind in our sails, propelling us forward through every journey. As I shift focus to my real estate endeavors, I carry with me cherished memories of our cruising fleet adventures and the knowledge that the spirit of our community will continue to thrive under the new cruising fleet captain.

I look forward to memories yet to be made as a participant and host on future cruising fleet adventures!
